I was hoping to be on the road doing promotional spots again by now, but things have been a bit scrappy the last couple
of weeks, and now Easter's coming up next week, so some clubs will be shut. I'm now thinking in terms of maybe getting about
for a few days after Easter.
Regarding dates for the website, there's not much on, but I'm doing a concert in Droylsden
tomorrow (14th) with Jon Brindley; details/tickets from their website (Bush Acoustic Music Club). I'm at Fleetwood Folk Club,
at the Steamer Hotel, on 3rd April, and Swinton Folk Club, at the White Lion, on 19th May. That's it until August. Sad, isn't
it? I don't know if it's even worth putting the dates on the website; it isn't a great advertisement, is it? I had three
dates in late Jan/early Feb. Sold 10 CDs at one of them - about a third of the people in the room. If I could do that every
time, I'd be doing all right. And as you've seen, the list of people saying nice things about me on Mudcat is growing; in
fact, I've sold a CD as a result of one of the recent threads. Someone followed up the link to the website and
had a listen to the tracks on there, liked them and boughr it. So it's having some impact.
